Project Profile: Grand Rapids Residence

When a local family selected a challenging lot for the construction of their new home, Englesma Homes and Soils & Structures turned to Kent Companies to establish a sound foundation for the structure. The hilly lot required pier installation at multiple elevations with piers placed on the interior and perimeter of the home. The Kent Companies team minimized site impact on the wooded lot by using a mini-excavator to maneuver and install piers in tight areas. The crew worked throughout wet, muddy conditions and installed 49 piers in four days.
